With over two decades of experience in the BPO and KPO sectors, Kalpana Thakur embarked on a new entrepreneurial journey in 2023,embracing the rich agricultural heritage of Himachal Pradesh. Her roots trace back to the quaint village of Roghi in Kinnaur, and her educational path took Kalpana from JNV Theog/Canacona to IHM Pusa in New Delhi, each step broadening her horizons and introducing her to the real world. Leveraging her extensive background in corporate operations, she joined hands with her childhood friend,founded apple farming venture with a vision to blend modern agricultural practices with traditional wisdom. This initiative not only underscores her commitment to sustainable farming but also highlights her dedication to contributing to the local economy and community. Her journey from the corporate world to the orchards of Himachal has been driven by a passion for innovation and a deep appreciation for the land's potential, aiming to produce premium quality apples while fostering environmental stewardship.
